MIYAMOTO ANJU
2001年高知県生まれ。京都府在住。京都芸術大学大学院芸術専攻修士2年在籍。文字や形などに対して色を感じる「共感覚」を有し、それをもとに街、木、人といった日常の風景をモチーフに制作している。一般化された対象の概念を丁寧に分解し、線描画として再構成しながら「かたち」に留まらない存在そのものや対象の持つ中身を描く。強弱の揺らぎのある存在を描くため、絵画だけでなくアニメーション制作も手掛ける。

Currently based in Kyoto and enrolled in the second year of the Master’s program in Fine Arts at Kyoto University of the Arts.
She possesses synesthesia, a condition in which she perceives colors in response to letters, shapes, and other stimuli. Drawing on this sensitivity, she creates works inspired by everyday scenery such as streets, trees, and people.
By carefully deconstructing generalized perceptions of familiar subjects, she reconstructs them as line drawings, aiming to depict not just “forms” but the very presence and essence within each subject.
To express the subtle fluctuations and nuanced existence of things, she works not only in painting but also in animation.
